The one who kisses toes,
Spreads out their clothes,
Dries their tears,
Allays their fears,
Pays the bills,
Cleans up the spills,
Cooks the meals,
Plays tag in heels,
Teaches them morals,
Brings end to quarrels,
Teaches to read,
Plants many a seed,
Dances through the living room,
Sings into her kitchen broom,
Runs carpool here, there, everywhere,
Gives bedtime stories her own flare,
Fights the good fight,
Tucks in at night.

Tear drier,
Dragon slayer,
Princess in armour,
Wage earner,
Waitress,
Chief chef,
Teammate,
Philosopher,
Peacemaker,
Teacher,
Botanist,
Dancer,
Singer,
Chauffeur,
Story teller,
Brave warier,
Pillow fluffer.
